Begin this trip along a portion of the Chattahoochee River by using the Goat Rock Recreation Area boat ramp. From here travel south along the Chattahoochee River looping around Phillips Island before ending back at the same boat ramp. Longer distance trips can be done from the Goat Rock Recreation Area if desired.
