Located along the Alabama and Georgia Borders, this trip along the Chattahoochee River begins from the Omusee Creek Public Use Area boat ramp. From here travel up the Chattahoochee River enjoying the piney woods bordering the river banks as well as various wild flowers blooming year round. Continue upstream to Coheelee Creek Park which is located along the Georgia side of the river. Use the Boat ramp at the park to take-out. Visit the old Coheelee Creek Covered Bridge which was built in 1891. This trip can be done as a out-and-back (shown here), or a one way trip. To end this particular trip, head back down river to Omusee Creek Public Use Area and use the boat ramp to take-out.
