This section of the West Fork of the Choctawhatchee River begins off Alabama Highway 27 and starts under the bridge. From here travel down river to the U.S. Highway 231 access point passing through cypress, sweet gum, beech and longleaf pine landscapes with boulders, bluffs and a waterfall along the banks providing scenery and tranquility. Enjoy drops varying in size, a few white water shoals and a rope swing platform for added excitement.
