Located along the border of Alabama and Georgia, Walter F. George Reservoir, also known as Lake Eufaula, is a 46,000 acre lake created on the Chattahoochee River. Camping, paddling, swimming and fishing are popular activities along the lake. This particular trip begins from the Thomas Mill Creek Park boat ramp located just off Henry County Road 97. From here travel south along the wooded shorelines of the reservoir before reaching Hardridge Creek Public Use Area. Use the boat ramp as your take-out destination.
