Located along the border of Alabama and Georgia, Walter F. George Reservoir, also known as Lake Eufaula, is a 46,000 acre lake created on the Chattahoochee River. Camping, paddling, swimming and fishing are popular activities along the lake. This particular trip begins from the White Oak Creek Recreation Area boat ramp and travels south along the reservoirs wooded shoreline to Thomas Mill Creek. Located up the creek is the Thomas Mill Creek Park where a boat ramp is available to use for your one way take-out destination (shown here) or travel back to White Oak Creek for an out-and-back trip.
