This trip begins from the Driftwood Family Campground Boat Ramp located along the shoreline of Weiss Lake. From here begin your day paddle trip by heading north past Black Mallard Cove as you pass through small islands to the mouth of Little River. There is boat ramp located at near Big Oak Campground at the mouth of Little River that can be used if needed. Pull up along the banks of the Little River as you rest, enjoy the views and have lunch before making the journey back to Driftwood Campground. Driftwood Campground is open from March 1st through October 31st. Fees are required for boat ramp access and campsites. Plenty of amenities are available making this a great location for the whole family. Smaller trips are available in the area as well for canoes and short distance kayaking.
