Situated in the forested terrain of Tonto National Forest, Houson Mesa Campground offers scenic and convenient camping sites just a few hours outside of Phoenix. The campground consists of tent sites, RV sites, and equestrian sites. The maximum equipment length is 99 feet. Each site has a table, fire ring, and grill. There are showers, flush toilets, drinking water, and firewood at the campground. Reservations are required at least 3 days in advance during peak season (March-October) but walk-ins are allowed the remainder of the year. Sites start at $16 per night.
