The red rock country of Sedona is some of the best in the state and the route between Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek is a great way to see some of the most popular red rock formations including Courthouse Butte and Bell Rock. The ride follows Highway 179 between the two communities and is well-traveled so watch out for traffic. There are multiple trailheads located right off Highway 179 that provide access to many of the best trails in the Sedona area.
