Walter Lake Trail includes Slate Loop as well as Horseshoe Loop. This trail runs through Kendrick Snowmobile Trail System. Visitors can enjoy the backcountry with an opportunity to see elk, deer, coyote, and much more wildlife. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing are other popular activities here.
