Beaver Lake is a large reservoir on the White River in northwestern Arkansas. The lake is located at relatively high elevation in the Ozark Mountains and is surrounded by dense hardwood and evergreen forest. This put-in is located at the Prairie Creek Day Use Area and offers two long branches of irregular shoreline to explore. Being closer to the town of Prairie Creek this area is a bit more developed than others on the lake but this also makes access convenient. Day use fees apply.
