This is a beautiful stretch of moderately challenging whitewater in the unspoiled surrounding of the central Ozarks. The route winds through rugged canyon blanketed in hardwood forest. A heavy wetsuit or insulated drysuit is recommended as the season for running this creek is in the winter and early spring. The take-out at Helton’s Farm is on private property so be respectful of the area and stop and make a donation as you enter.
