Carter Cove Campground is located along the shores of Nimrod Lake and Dam. It offers a total of 34 modern and roomy campsites and one picnic shelter. A swimming beach and a boat launch are both offered on site. Boating, waterskiing, and tubing are all very popular here along with fishing for catfish, bluegill, bass, and crappie. Wildlife in the area will not disappoint as campers may see deer, turkey, quail, rabbit, fox, mink, black bear, and waterfowl. Prices range from $18-$40 per night.
