This stretch of Crooked Creek is hemmed by farmlands and hardwood covered banks. Canoe camping is good with many broad beaches; this creek can flash flood so camp on high ground. Fishing for smallmouth bass is popular on this reach and during highwater you’re likely to see upriver traffic from anglers on the White River.
