This paddle enjoys a long stretch of wilderness through a winding canyon. The hills surrounding are blanketed in dense hardwood and evergreen forest and dotted with scenic rock formations. Be on the lookout for downed trees in your path and avoid the willow thickets. The hazards presented by this run are intensified by the lack of steam access between the put-in and take-out. A party of at least three boats is recommended.
