This is a very challenging section of whitewater in beautiful surroundings that should only be attempted by expert paddlers in small, nimble craft. The route generally only has runnable flows in the cold months when other streams are in flood stage, for this reason a heavy wetsuit or insulated drysuit is a must. Intensive scouting of all drops (some upwards of 10 feet) is advised and be on the lookout for fallen trees and willow thickets at all times.
