Greers Ferry Lake is a large reservoir created by an impoundment of the Little Red River. Located at the eastern edge of the Ozark Mountains the surrounding area consists of hardwood and evergreen forest and agricultural lands. This area of the lake is accessed from the Hill Creek Recreation Area and offers access to a few long arms of the lake to explore. The area around this area of the lake is fairly developed with a small airstrip nearby.
