Hickory Nut Mountain Road is about 6 miles long with some occasional challenges. The trail is bumpy and surrounded with trees. A stock SUV with high clearance and 4 low is recommended for this trail. Visitors will cross a few bridges and may experience some water or mud depending on the time of year.
