This hike parallels the blue-green waters of the Kings River to a broad, low cascade. There are large clear pools above and bellow the falls should you feel inclined to take a dip. The area surrounding the river is blanketed in lush, dense woodlands and a tributary entering the river at the fall has some small waterfalls if you care to do a little bushwhacking to seek them out.
