Lake Charles is a large reservoir at the edge of the northern Arkansas delta region. The shoreline is a mix of woodlands, agricultural lands and residential development. This lake has several arms and deep coves that are enjoyable for paddlers to explore. Campground facilities are available. Entrance fees apply at Lake Charles State Park.
