Lake Fort Smith is a medium sized reservoir surrounded by wooded hill country in northwestern Arkansas. This long and narrow body of water has little development along its shore that makes for a wilderness feel when paddling here. The public access to the lake is excellent with many updated facilities; campsites are available.
