Lake Frierson offers paddlers roughly four miles of shoreline with several coves to explore. Located near Jonesboro the lake is surrounded by hardwoods and evergreens that obscure the farmlands beyond. This is a particularly popular spot for fishing for the area stocked with bass, channel catfish, bream and crappie.
