Lake Hamilton is a large reservoir on the Ouachita River adjacent to the bustling community of Hot Springs Arkansas. The area is made popular by the nearby Hot Springs National Park and is a hub of tourism. The lake has a complex and irregular shoreline with many bays, coves and a few islands. Much of the lake’s shoreline hosts residential development and rental properties. The area accessed from the Will Hulsey Fish Hatchery is a large bay with almost entirely developed shoreline although some wooded islands are present.
