This hike wanders through dense hardwood and evergreen forest in northwestern Arkansas at Hobbs State Park. The trail climbs over many ridges and crosses mossy creek bottoms on its meandering course. Despite the hilly country that the hike takes place in elevation change is minimal; the longest climb rising roughly two hundred fifty feet.
