This stretch of river provides a long paddle through unspoiled Ozark hill country. There are many willow thickets to negotiate between the long blue-green pools of quick-water. A low water bridge at approximately mile five should be approached very cautiously and portaged on the river right. Be mindful, this is a long paddle, leave early to avoid being caught out in the dark.
