Norfork Lake is a large reservoir located in northern Arkansas created by an impoundment of the North Fork River and its tributaries. The shores of the lake vary from unspoiled wooded hills to swanky residential developments. The area of the lake accessed from Jordan Landing is characterized by a large marina that is quite busy during the high season. There are several large bays and deep coves to explore in the vicinity and a few islands that would make good spots for primitive camping.
