Norfork Lake is a large reservoir located in northern Arkansas created by an impoundment of the North Fork River and its tributaries. The shores of the lake vary from unspoiled wooded hills to swanky residential developments. The area of the lake accessed from Robinson Point Park offers an immensely long shoreline, indeed too long to possibly be seen in a day. This point places you just at the edge of one of the largest reaches of open water on the lake as well. Although the area around the put-in is fairly developed quiet wooded shores are not far off.
