This trail parallels Richland Creek through dense hardwoods in the Ozark National Forest. The destination of the hike is Richland Falls, a low, wide cascade of blue-green water. There is a creek crossing near the beginning of the hike that should be avoided in high water. Elevation gain on this walk is minimal making it accessible for most hikers.
