Rising Star Campground is located on the Arkansas River which provides great recreation for just about anyone. Visitors in the area frequently see red foxes roaming the area as well as waterfowl. Anglers will enjoy the amazing catfish fishing as well as bass, crappie, and bream. Other activities include hunting, picnicking, and more. A total of 25 sites are available all with water and electric hookups as well as access to hot showers and a dump station. Sites cost $19 per night.
