Ritter Trail is a pretty difficult and heavily forested trail that is located in the heart of the Ouachita National Forest. The trail can be continued as Alum Fork. Visitors here should expect washouts, high water crossings, and pinstriping. A stock SUV with high clearance and 4 low is highly recommended. There are plenty of areas to camp in the forest along the way.
