River Road Campground is located along the shores of Nimrod Lake and Dam and is right between the Ouachita and Ozark Mountains. Anglers will not be disappointed here as they may fish for catfish, bluegill, bass, and crappie. Other activities include boating, water skiing, and tubing, and hunting. Hunters may not hunt in or near recreation areas. There are 21 roomy campsites as well as a group picnic shelter, and all of which have access to a playground for children and a boat ramp. Standard sites cost $16-$36 per night and the group shelter is $40 per day.
