Rubicon Ridge D1 is a somewhat difficult trail that branches off from Main Road 5. Visitors should expect some steep spots with loose rocks. A stock SUV with high clearance and 4 low is highly recommended. Lots of camping spots are offered- some even include electrical and water hookups.
