The hike to Sam’s Throne follows a campground roadway departing into the woods at a small turnaround and then descends to a scenic overlook. From the bluff tops you’ll find there you are given excellent views to west south and east. The return is a partial loop with several side trails to explore if you’re up for a little more adventure.
