This stretch of the White River is floatable year round due to daily releases from the Bull Shoals Dam. The area around the river is developed but much of the banks are wooded. The river is known particularly for it’s excellent trout fishing and clear water; expect to see many other boaters. Be wary of a diversion dam on the river left just below the put in that may present a hazard during highwater.
