This broad stretch of the White River is floatable year round due to daily releases from the Bull Shoals Dam. The area around the river is developed but much of the banks are wooded. The river is known particularly for it’s excellent trout fishing and clear water; expect to see many other boaters. This is a long paddle so start early and be prepared for a full day on the water.
