This stretch of the White River is floatable year round due to daily releases from the Bull Shoals Dam. The area around the river is developed but much of the banks are wooded. A mild rapid exist two miles below the put-in but is of little concern. This is a long paddle so start out early and be prepared for a full day on the river.
