Sitting at 1,900 feet this lakeside campground is located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest along the western shore of Lewiston Lake at the base of Trinity Dam. Ackerman Campground is open year round for walk-ins and reservation can be made from May 21st through September 7th. Ackerman Campground accommodates RVs and trailers up to 40 feet. Camp sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire ring with a grill. Drinking water is available from the beginning of April through October (weather permitting). Nightly rates are $16 per night and extra vehicle fee is $6 per night. Dump station fee is $8 and the boat ramp and day use fee is $8 a vehicle.
