This trail follows Bear Creek as it wanders through giant cottonwoods, riparian vegetation, and grasslands from highway 470 to Bear Lake. Most of the trail is shaded by the dense riparian vegetation and trees that grow along the banks of the creek. The sound of cars are faint, otherwise, this serene hike has a remote feel even though you're only minutes from urban areas.
