Bear Creek to Methodist Mountain has a variety of terrain beginning on paved road, then dirt road to single track. This route is part of the annual Banana Belt Mountain Bike Loop Race that is done annually to celebrate the grassroot beginnings of mountain biking. It travels up the Bear Creek drainage and follows along a section of the famous Rainbow Trail. Expect smooth singletrack with some rocky and sandy sections.
