Located along the Guanella Pass Scenic Byway, this small campground offers 13 sites for tent or small trailer camping. Parking spaces are dirt and the campground road can be rough with erosion and washboards. Because of the high elevation, temperatures during the hot summer months stay cooler and pleasant. Drinking water, vault toilets, picnic tables and grills are all provided onsite. Several hiking opportunities are available along Geneva Road and Mount Evans Wilderness is directly behind the campground, where you’ll find access to the Abyss Trail. The nightly rate for camping is $18.
