This popular ride is best done early in the season before conditions are too dry. The route follows on singletrack, dirt road and bits of paved roads. It offers a technical ride (not for beginners) with excellent views of the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Expect rocky sections, hard climbs and sandy drop-offs. Watch out for rattlesnakes.
