Governor Basin is located off Yankee Boy Basin and has continued stunning scenery. It travels through evergreen forests and ends above timberline at a well-preserved mine. It is pretty short and climbs a narrow shelf road. There are just a few places for vehicles to pass so drive cautiously. Stock SUVs with high clearance is ok.
