Located in White River National Forest, Heaton Bay Campground offers 86 sites next to Dillon Reservoir that can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There is little to no shade because of the pine beetle infestation. Sites can be reserved and some are saved for first come, first serve guests. Electrical hookups are available as well as water to fill your tanks. Each site contains a picnic table, and campfire ring. Several trails are nearby for hiking and exploring as well a boat ramp access at marinas in Frisco and Dillon. The nightly rate is $22-26.
