Mount Falcon Park is full of scenic vistas and historic sites with several trails that wind through the parks open meadows and forested hillsides. This trail follows an old narrow road that at one time was traveled by the Stanley Steamer owned by John Brisben Walker, the same former owner of the land that is now Mount Falcon Park. It climbs up the foothills to the lookout tower atop Mount Falcon where you'll find views for miles. From here, the trail descends through the forest only to climb back up another hill to the foundations of the Walker family mansion before returning to the trailhead. The mansion was never completed and one of many visions Walker had. During spring snowmelt the trails in the eastern section of the park may be closed to prevent further erosion.
