The Sourdough Trail is a very popular singletrack for the locals with beautiful views of the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area. Most of the trail is in the shade from the thick forest. There are some switchbacks that are a bit technical. For added length the climb to Brainard lake in nice and results in a fast and smooth descent.
