Spruce Mountain Trail | Douglas County, Colorado

Spruce Mountain is on Douglas County open space. This is a great trail that's close to home and provides a beautiful place to escape the city for a few hours. There are fantastic views of Sun Mountain (Pike's Peak) and the surrounding valley and ranches. The trail starts off with a moderate uphill climb but levels off on top of the plateau. This is definitely one of my favorites in the area.
