Mellow to exciting. Meander on Staunton ranch trail for 3 miles, then climb marmot passage trail, which has some fun features. For the back loop I recommend going up west meadow trail, and down chimney rock unless you like slightly technical climbs followed by slow, gentle downhill. Coming down chimney rock trail is mostly fast and flowy with optional features for added excitement. Some well built switchbacks take you to elk falls trail. This hiker only trail has a spot to park your bike and make a quick jaunt down to see the beautiful falls. Chimney rock is really cool too. Then back to elk falls pond to complete the back loop. From here going up the road (bugling elk) is nice. The climb back up marmot passage is fairly loose. Then back down Staunton ranch OR even better, do the front loop in which case you would go up Border Line trail.
