Walden Ponds was once the site of a gravel pit that transformed into a thriving wetland habitat for a variety of wildlife. This hike first follows a boardwalk that meanders through the marsh and past several interpretive signs explaining the geology and history of the area. It then makes a loop around the ponds where you'll find open views of Indian Peaks.
