Cape Henlopen State Park is exquisitely beautiful and has a variety of different habitats, including the beach and shore, the dunes, mature forests, bogs, and salt marshes. White-tailed deer roam the woodlands, northern bobwhite abounds on the dunes and in the forests, and seabirds and shorebirds are abundant. This hike passes through scenic Holland Glade, highlighted by a scenic overlook on a wooden bridge with views of marshland and the ocean in the distance. It follows a wide graded trail through coastal forest and farm fields.
