The James F. Hall Trail is a paved and lighted trail that runs through three city parks in Newark. The trail can be accessed through each of the parks or at several other points on different streets. The parks are Park Place East, Lewis Park, and it ends in Phillips Park. Because of its short length it is easily ridden out-and-back and due to the numerous easy access points, it can also be ridden one-way. The trail roughly parallels a railway that is in use.
