Killens Pond State Park abounds with recreation opportunities with a 66-acre millpond as its centerpiece. The scenery is natural and serene. There are several trails that run throughout the woodlands and grassy fields surrounding the pond as well as several types of habitat featuring native plants and animals. You will circle the pond through a mixed deciduous-coniferous forest with a mix of loblolly pine, tulip tree, American holly, and white oak. There are many other beautiful sights and birdwatching is popular.
